How to prepare your materials for printing

TextPartner's DTP supports the following document formats:

Composite files before color separation

• PDF (*.pdf),

• PostScript (*.ps, *.eps),

• JPEG (*.jpg, *.jpeg),

• TIFF (*.tif).

Open-format files:

• Corel Draw (*.cdr) version X3 or sooner,

• Adobe Illustrator (*.ai) CS2 or sooner,

• Adobe InDesign (*.indd) CS2 or sooner.

If you choose to send your files in an open format, it is crucial to have:

• the text saved as curves,

• include all the necessary, linked images.

Apply CMYK to your color artwork.

Color profile: Euroscale for coated papers.

The requirements other than mentioned above are the same as in case of traditional (offset) printing. However, there is no need to use registration marks, color descriptions or color bars.
